Let me say first that this has been my biggest project in all of my history of making Fan Dubs. It's just finally reaching the end of production and I promise when it's fianlly out, it will be one of the best quality FAN dubs ever. All the waiting and annoyance of VAs going MIA will have been worth it to see this finally completed. It's not perfect, but it's damn good.
This Fan Dub was started back in 2004 and that makes it 3 some years in production. There are a few reasons for the delays. Biggest problem was voice actors & actresses. I've gone through dozens and dozens of people that signed up for this project and then went MIA. This lead to the second problem, which is me getting discouraged and just losing interest in dealing with it. I wish I hadn't done this, I feel bad and apologize. The project saw it's major revival back in late summer 2006, when the talented Megan Kearney joined the group and helped fill in many missing roles, ranging from the main cast, to many, many extras. Then the project hit another bump due to VA troubles and went offline until recently around the end of January. I decided that I would either finish this finally or just move on. But I knew there was too much talent involved with this project and I didn't want to let it all go to waste.
So! Here we are in March...The dub is actually almost done and all that remains is some line redos and some last minute recasting of some minor roles. It depends on when I receive the last bits from my VAs, but I estimate that the dub could be ready as early as March 10th. Yes, I do mean of this year!
I apologize to all involved with this project for such a long wait. But like I said, I beleive it will be one of the best Fan Dubs ever made once it's completed. It's been a long haul, but it will have been worth it.
